The Hotel Central as its name implies is conveniently situated for all the local attractions being close to the beach the Pavilion Theatre and the working 17th century harbour. The town centre is one minute's level walk away. The dining room is a pleasant venue in which to dine and easily accessible on the ground floor. The hotel has full central heating for those early and late season breaks and a passenger lift to all floors. The Hotel Central has 28 bedrooms all en suite with colour television radio intercom and tea coffee making facilities. Two bedrooms have been specially designed to help guests who may be disabled both are on the ground floor and each has a large bathroom which contains a bath with handrails an adjustable hand basin and a toilet with room at the side for a wheelchair. On the first floor there is a lounge bar where dancing and live entertainment is provided several nights a week. Guests of the Hotel Central are able to use the facilities of our sister hotel the Fairhaven which is just across the road from the Hotel Central.
